Retail of Recommended Skincare Products

Feb 23, 2021

Hello and welcome to February’s update from Skin Deep Clinic.

As a trained nurse, I have been able to join the NHS vaccinating programme, which has been rewarding. It’s amazing to see the scale of what has been accomplished in such a short space of time. I hope the benefits of lockdown and vaccination continue to be measurable in the statistics.

Speaking of lockdown, how has your skin been looking and feeling? If you’re missing the effects of regular medical aesthetic treatments, not all is lost, I assure you! If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram, you’ll have seen the products that I recommend to brighten up a lockdown skincare routine.

Below are three products that I LOVE. I’m selling both and deliver across the UK.

Retinol serum

Retinol is a key ingredient that I have re-introduced to my skincare routine temporarily. It is a fast-acting form of Vitamin A, which speeds up skin cell turnover – revealing fresher, healthier-looking skin. It helps the tired outer skin cells to shed, those cells that make our skin look dull and wrinkles look deeper.

There are a couple of options I suggest: all-over Retinol Face Cream at £63 or the Retinol Eye Cream at £49.

The retinol eye cream is proving the most popular, probably because the eye area is the most visible part of our face when wearing masks. Although, with the current reliance video calling through Zoom and Teams, the full-face option does have advantages.

Vitamin C

If you’re considering the all-over Retinol Face Cream, I recommend you use a Vitamin C Serum too, as the effects of these vitamins complement each other. Again, the use of Retinol will grant other products better absorption by removing the outer dead skin cells.

Vitamin C is also a powerful antioxidant, helping improve fine lines and brighten dull, uneven skin tone. My preferred Vitamin C skincare brand costs £80.

Profhilo Haenkenium®

Profhilo Haenkenium® is my year-round go-to product and bestseller. I often call it my “miracle cream”!

You’d enjoy quality grade Hyaluronic Acid (HA) in a light, non-greasy, easily absorbed formula. One function of HA is to hold water, which improves hydration whilst stimulating collagen and elastin production for tighter and brighter skin.

ToneSmart Cream Foundation

This is brand new to Skin Deep Clinic! Advanced mineral protection from the industry-leading SkinBetter range, which adapts to the colour of your skin tone.

ToneSmart is skin-smoothing, goes on light and SPF50, to put your mind at ease in the sun.

Ordering skincare products

Postage is free by my pedal power during lockdown if you live in the vicinity of Shrewsbury town centre. Outside of Shrewsbury, I recommend Royal Mail First Class (£4.85) as it is prompt plus your cream(s) would be insured.

To order, or if you have any questions, please call or text 07801 644888 or email wendy@skindeepclinic.co.uk

If I do not reply straight away, I am likely to be in clinic or helping with the vaccination programme, so bear with me!

Like you, I’m looking forward to “freedom” once more J Stay safe, stay healthy.

Best Wishes,

Wendy xx
